Ep. 234: For Uncertain Times

One of my favorite moments from the time I spent out in the wilderness a few weeks ago was when I was surrounded by all these Bristlecone Pines – trees that are well over FOUR THOUSAND years old. I felt such relief collapsing into their arms, wondering what they’ve seen over these past millenia. all that they’ve weathered – all that they know.

It’s a deep wisdom that only comes from being very, very old.

This week, I’ve been reflecting on what they taught me about weathering so many years of life on this beloved planet in light of all of the challenges the country – and the world at large – is facing. So I want to share the best response I know how to right now. Something for all of us in times of change and challenge.

This week we’re going to explore what we can do as individuals and as a community when we feel ungrounded during uncertain times. I’ll give you an important first step toward healing and action and reminders that help keep the spark of hope alive and well. We’ll zoom in and out to make current events more manageable within our hearts, minds, and spirits.

You will learn:

// Why it’s so important to mourn when dealing with challenges in our lives

// How to focus on our communities and become leaders of action

// What happens when we forget our inherent lovability and interconnection with all that is

// Where our personal path and practice play into all of this

// How to stay tapped into hope
