In this week’s episode, we’re diving into the arrival of Winter Solstice (in the Northern Hemisphere, at least!) and the importance of embracing and becoming familiar with the inner and outer darkness it brings. We explore remembering the light we all carry within no matter the season; our ziji, our radiant inner confidence, and set the intention that this Solstice be a time of connection – to yourself, your light, and to the gifts that the dark can bring.

This is a replay of one of my favorite episodes, because if you’re anything like me and you have a tendency toward some major FOMO with a dash of perfectionism, you can spend some serious energy debating all the options for any decision that comes your way. And we have a lot of decisions to make this time of year!

This coming weekend is the anniversary of my mom’s passing from this life. I have a lot of grief around our relationship in the last couple years of her life.I was impatient and bitchy, sleep deprived and in the throes of postpartum depression, while also getting my doctoral degree and going a shitton of solo parenting.

This week is for those of us who feel a sense of grief that we may have started our spiritual journey “too late.” Who feel we’re way late to the party. I’m going to help you rethink that by showing you why right now is the perfect time for you to begin your path. We’ll also be busting a few myths about what we often think our path should look like, versus what it really is.

This week we’ll talk about what’s possible when we drop our stories. We’ll ask ourselves, “Is this STILL a story that applies to me?” and “Who am I without my story?” We’ll revel in what freedom from the past feels like, how redefining personal narratives can impact the collective, and how this is especially relevant in these times.
